Sir! No Sir!

Very few know about the anti-war movement that took place within the U.S. armed forces.
In barracks, in army stockades and in the small towns surrounding military bases, soldiers organized in resistance to the war. From the publication of underground newspapers and demonstrations on military bases to widespread desertion, entire units refusing to go into battle, the military was brought to the brink of widespread mutiny.
"Sir, No Sir" tells the history of the GI movement through the stories of those who were part of it and with never-before-seen archival material and explores the impact it had on the military and the war itself. The film also tells the story of how and why the GI Movement has been erased from the public memory.
